Your expertise in Java Microservice development will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, performance and robustness of the next generation loans processing application. Day to Day ResponsibilitiesNew build will have a combination of general engineering and distributed ledger/blockchain workJava, APIs, microservices are requiredBlockchain/smart contract experience is highly preferredFront end development experience is a plusExperience utilizing AI tools for code assistance (Windsurf) is highly preferredJob Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developersDesign, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and re-usableDesign, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experienceEnsure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end componentsCreate RESTFul APIs (gRPC) to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systemsConduct regular code reviews, unit testing, CI and maintain high code quality and reliabilityDevelop and present high-level design proposals, renderings, and presentations to stakeholders.Provide input & decisioning, manage & reduce blockers, & ensure continuous flow or work, helping pod owners refine & reprioritize pod backlogs.Foster a culture of collaboration, actively participating in team brainstorming sessions and sharing knowledge across pods.Support team members in navigating challenges, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with the projects overall vision.Qualifications:Strong expertise in Core/Advanced Java and J2EEExperience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, or similar frameworksKnowledge of JIRA, Junit, and Apache Kafka are preferredIn-depth knowledge of REST API principles, HTTP protocolSolid grasp of Git, CI/CD, Agile principles
