Joining a dynamic data team, the full-time Senior AWS Redshift Data Engineer will optimize AWS Redshift clusters and enhance data infrastructure performance while working remotely on a 1099 contract through the end of the year. Key responsibilities Optimize and maintain large-scale AWS Redshift clusters and data warehouse performance Improve and support ETL pipelines utilizing Kafka and ECS jobs Enhance BI performance and data availability for reporting tools such as Looker Required qualifications 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, database administration, or related roles Extensive experience optimizing AWS Redshift clusters, including environments with hundreds of terabytes of data Strong experience tuning, repairing, and maintaining heavily queried and frequently updated Redshift tables Experience configuring and managing Kafka streams Familiarity with Python and/or AI-enabled data workflows is a strong plus
