We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform and AWS cloud services to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps best practices .
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules
- Ensure best practices for state management, versioning, and modular design
- Architect and optimize AWS environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency
- Manage AWS services including VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM , and related services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Automate application and infrastructure deployments
- Implement monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana , or similar tools
- Ensure system reliability, performance tracking, and log management
Security & Compliance
- Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards
- Perform regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- 5+ years of experience working with AWS cloud architecture and services
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
Programming & Scripting
- Proficiency in Python, Bash , or similar scripting languages
DevOps Automation
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and configuration management
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification
- Experience with Ansible, Packer, Terraform Cloud / Enterprise
