Owning the technical health and enhancement of the Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA), the full-time Senior AWS Connect Engineer will design, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect capabilities while troubleshooting production issues and developing integrations, all in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, routing logic, and associated configurations for the IVA Develop integrations between Amazon Connect, the IVA, and enterprise systems using AWS Lambda and APIs Troubleshoot production issues and implement engineering practices for change management and documentation Required qualifications 7+ years of software, cloud, or platform engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Amazon Connect solutions Hands-on experience building and maintaining Amazon Connect contact flows and integrations Strong programming skills in languages used for serverless development, such as Node/Javascript Working knowledge of AWS services including IAM, CloudWatch, and secure cloud engineering practices Experience with conversational AI technologies, including Amazon Lex or similar platforms
