Senior Automation EngineerIn this exciting role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of an outstanding controls Ethernet network. This position requires a motivated, client-focused individual with a wide array of programming and controls engineering skills. The individual also must be a highly effective troubleshooter as they will be the highest level of in-house support. Further, this position will require people who are highly successful at working as part of a team. It will be necessary for them to partner with internal and external resources to be successful.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and administer the plant controls Ethernet networkEngineer and implement in-house, or work with a third party to produce reliable automation solutions to meet the needs of the businessElectrical panel design, Device selection, Flow Charts, Project Schedules, Scope of work, Cost estimatesProvide maintenance break/fix support for automation related issuesServe as automation and controls authority on local project teamsServe as a high-level technical support resource for complex automation and electrical issuesProduce energy and production reports using Wonderware historian, ICIS energy management, and ICIS Plant Performance, etc.Administer and maintain all associated plant databasesMaintain all automation-related programs and documentation including PLC programs, HMI programs, electrical drawings, P&IDs, pin charts, functional analyses, sequence of operations, etc.Maintain all automation programming software for the facility such as Rockwell Software, Wonderware, ICIS, Network Management, etc.Work with the Automation and Controls Manager to produce best practicesAssist with other plant or department members in developing and championing programs and projects as requiredWork with IT to build a bridge from plant floor data to the ERP systemContinually seek out best practices and share with the organizationShare of general knowledge within facility and organizational peer groupsTake a leadership role in contributing to and completing more complex automation tasks, collaborating seamlessly with experienced team membersTake a lead position in plant investigations, driving exploration and in-depth understanding of advanced automation technologiesLead Automation Capital Projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion within defined timelines and budgetsTake on a meaningful role in the design and implementation of advanced automation improvements, providing mentorship to junior team membersRequirements:6+ years of electrical, controls, and automation experience or a bachelor's degree in a technical field coupled with 4+ years of relevant work experienceProven history of programming project managementOverall high-performance evaluationExpertise in crafting and implementing complex automation solutionsExcellent project management and organizational skillsMentor and train technicians effectivelyStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesAdvanced knowledge PLC and HMI programming, showcasing the ability to craft, program, and optimize control systems for maximum efficiency and performanceStrong and proven leadership skillsStrong cross-functional exposure / experienceHighly client-centric and can build and maintain strong relationshipsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environmentBalance multiple priorities at onceProficient with reporting systems such as Retail Link, IRI and AC NielsenProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategiesIn-depth knowledge and practical experience in SQL database design, implementation, and optimizationWillingness to travelAbout Us:Chobani is a food maker with a mission of making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to more people, while elevating our communities and making the world a healthier place.

The salary range for this full-time position is $105,500.00 - $196,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
