Software DeveloperWe are seeking a software developer with a passion for designing and building automated tests and development tools to join our growing team of top ecommerce technology professionals. Reporting to the head of QA and Development Tools, the Development Tools/QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining all manner of automated tests and tools used in our Development and Test infrastructures and our Continuous Integration and Deployment environment.Core ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Product Management, Development, Operations and other staff on the requirements, design and implementation of automated tests and testing frameworks, as well as tools used to automate our development and release processesExpand and enhance our continuous integration and deployment process componentsContribute to the design and implementation of test automation infrastructure componentsContribute to the design and implementation of automated tests for web application and server-side components as neededMinimum RequirementsBachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology3+ years of software development or release engineering experience, preferably with consumer-oriented web applicationsAbility to write object-oriented code, preferably using C# and Visual StudioAbility to write and understand SQL queries to perform data verification and to set up test dataStrong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesFamiliarity with Microsoft IIS 8, Windows Server 2012Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, MSBuildFirm comprehension of Web technology, application and browser issuesExperience using RESTful APIs a plusExperience in test automation frameworks (Preferably NUnit/Selenium but open to other frameworks such as PhantomJS, Cucumber, Jasmine, etc.)Experience using and administering tools such as Git, BitBucket, JIRA, PowerShellBenefits & Perks of Working Here100% company-paid health and dental benefitsFree gym membership100% paid maternity/paternity leave21 days vacation and 7 paid holidaysSubsidized commuter expensesFully stocked snack barFriday happy hourDog-friendly officeOpen layout for collaborative work environmentMonthly company events and outingsCasual dress codeBased in Boston's historic and beautiful South End, we're growing and looking for talent to take us to the next level.
