Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation & Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of automated security workflows within a dynamic Security Operations Center (SOC). This role focuses on creating scalable, reliable automation solutions that enhance threat detection, incident response, and operational efficiency, utilizing cutting-edge AI and agentic technologies. The ideal candidate will possess robust engineering expertise combined with sound cybersecurity judgment, collaborating across teams to build a secure and resilient security ecosystem aligned with enterprise cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with at least 3–4 years focused on automation, SOC engineering, or SIEM/SOAR development
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
• Proven proficiency in Python, PowerShell, API integration, and cloud automation practices in production environments
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise SIEM/SOAR platforms, especially Microsoft Sentinel, Defender/XDR, and Azure Logic Apps
• Strong understanding of threat detection, logging, alert tuning, and incident response workflows
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a record of delivering reliable automation solutions in operational settings

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation for alert enrichment, triage, response, and incident management across various SIEM/SOAR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender/XDR, Azure Logic Apps, and others
• Build integrations leveraging Python, PowerShell, APIs, and cloud‑native tools with robust error handling and documentation
• Collaborate with detection engineers, incident responders, and analysts to identify automation opportunities and improve detection workflows
• Develop AI‑assisted workflows for investigation, enrichment, and decision support that include human‑in‑the‑loop controls and auditability
• Partner with cross‑functional teams, participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and establish automation standards and best practices
