Our culture is authentic, supportive, and recognized.Awards & Recognition:#1 Best Company to Work For in New York (2025 & 2024)Best Accounting Firms to Work For (2012–2025)#1 Best Accounting Firm & Most Innovative Workplace (2025 & 2024, Rochester Business Journal)Location & Flexibility: Ithaca, NY or if interested in Rochester, NYWhat You'll Do:As a Senior Auditor/Supervisor, you'll play a key role on audit engagements for non-profit, municipalities, school districts or commercial clients.You'll have the opportunity to mentor staff, work directly with clients, and help shape project outcomes.Your responsibilities will include:Leading audit engagements and reviewing staff work to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standardsReviewing technical steps and collaborating with Managers/Partners on complex issuesPreparing financial statements, notes, schedules, and management lettersReporting audit findings and working through issues that impact audit strategyEvaluating internal controls and helping prepare audit programs and time budgetsDeveloping strong client relationships and maintaining awareness of client business needsTraining and coaching Accountants and InternsDelivering timely performance feedback and contributing to staff developmentWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA-eligible required)Senior level: Minimum 3 years of public accounting audit experienceSupervisor level: Minimum 4–5+ years of public accounting audit experienceAudit experience working on non-profits, municipalities, and/or school districts would be ideal.Having commercial-sector audits (real estate, manufacturing, business services, etc) would be a plus, but not required.Strong communication, organization, and documentation skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to work productively in a professional environmentCPA or advanced degree (MBA/Master's) preferredProficiency with spreadsheet/database tools; experience with audit/financial software a plusCompensation:Base salary range: $70,000 – $92,000 annually.
This range reflects base pay only. Total compensation also includes eligibility for spot bonuses and additional incentives.
