Senior Audio EngineerA growing technology organization is seeking a Senior Audio Engineer to lead development and optimization of audio performance for professional wireless communication and electronic hardware products. This role focuses on end-to-end audio system design, testing, and performance improvement across hardware devices and related accessories. The ideal candidate has strong experience in audio design, acoustic performance, and cross-functional engineering collaboration within a product development environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and translate end-user and market requirements into technical audio solutionsDevelop, maintain, and enhance audio testing methodologies and performance benchmarksDesign and support audio systems for portable, mobile, and fixed electronic equipment and accessoriesPartner with hardware engineering teams to provide circuit-level and system-level design feedbackCollaborate with internal and external teams to refine audio solutions across product linesSupport initiatives related to noise reduction, acoustic optimization, accessory performance, and product lifecycle testingRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong foundation in audio system design and acoustic engineering principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working both independently and in team-based environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required5+ years of electrical engineering design experience3+ years of research and development experienceExperience with advanced engineering concepts including materials, electronic components, and development software toolsAdditional InformationOccasional travel to customer, supplier, or partner locations may be requiredWork environment may include exposure to noise, vibration, oils, solvents, and other industrial materialsKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
