Job Title: Senior Associate, Recruiting Operations – Portfolio Company Talent
Location: Remote – Preference for candidates in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, or Houston metro areas (Open to candidates located in the southeastern U.S.)
Travel: ~20% for onsite interviews, leadership meetings, and portfolio engagement
Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance bonus

Our client is a rapidly growing private equity firm currently overseeing 8 portfolio companies and targeting expansion to 15 companies over the next 18–24 months . The firm emphasizes operational excellence, leadership upgrades, and scalable talent infrastructure as core drivers of value creation.
To enable continued growth, the firm is expanding its Portfolio Company Talent function to ensure each business is equipped with the right executive leadership to scale.
Position Overview
The Senior Associate, Recruiting Operations will support executive search and leadership assessment initiatives across all portfolio companies. Reporting directly to the Director of Portfolio Company Talent Acquisition , this role is responsible for sourcing top talent, building candidate pipelines, and managing the execution of search activities for C‑suite and senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and engage candidates for executive and senior leadership positions across the portfolio
- Build and manage ongoing talent pipelines to support rapid growth and succession planning
- Conduct candidate screening to assess experience alignment, leadership fit, and behavioral competencies
- Coordinate interview processes, assessments, and stakeholder communication across multiple searches
- Support market mapping, research, and competitive compensation benchmarking
- Maintain accurate recruiting analytics, reporting, and database hygiene
- Partner with Operating Partners and portfolio leadership to align candidate profiles with value‑creation goals
- Contribute to onboarding support to drive strong first‑90‑day performance for executive hires
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in executive recruiting, search research, or corporate talent acquisition
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and similar tools
- Process‑driven operator with excellent organizational discipline
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders
- Experience supporting private equity, investment banking, finance, or consulting roles strongly preferred
