Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join their Florham Park, NJ office. The successful candidate will manage multifaceted cases and provide strategic counsel to a diverse range of clients.

Duties

• Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Provide expert legal analysis and strategic advice on insurance coverage issues
• Draft comprehensive opinion letters on complex legal questions
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes
• Mentor and guide junior associates
• Participate in business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation and insurance coverage
• Demonstrated experience in drafting clear and persuasive opinion letters
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• High level of professional integrity and commitment to client service

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active and in good standing Bar admission in New Jersey is required
