The ideal candidate brings strong real estate, corporate and general transactional experience, and is comfortable working across a wide range of legal matters in a collaborative, in?house environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide general corporate, real estate and general transactional legal support and advice to Crow Holdings and affiliated entities and day?to?day legal guidance to business teams on routine corporate and operational mattersSupport business teams on complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, financings, acquisitions, dispositions and daily matters, under the direction of the General Counsel and senior attorneys, including coordinating due diligence and internal approval processesDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including services, consulting, technology, operational and confidentiality agreementsAssist with entity governance and maintenance matters, including documentation, approvals, and internal recordkeepingCoordinate with and help oversee outside counsel on real estate transactions, financings and other complex mattersInterface with and advise principals, family stakeholders, senior leadership and affiliated entities on legal matters, demonstrating the ability to navigate sensitive situationsConduct legal research, analysis, and drafting related to policies, procedures, and enterprise legal initiativesSupport monitoring of routine litigation and claims matters across the enterpriseSkills and ExperienceJD. degree from an accredited law school and strong academic credentialsActive license to practice law in Texas (or ability to become licensed promptly)5+ years of experience as a general corporate or transactional attorney, preferably at a major law firmDemonstrated experience supporting real estate transactions and working with transactional deal teamsExposure to joint ventures, co-investment structures, or complex deal structuring is preferred but not requiredStrong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with sound business judgmentExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with senior attorneys, business leaders, and external counselProactive approach to problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail and ability to consider alternative solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, detail?oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlinesHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive informationExperience with legal technology and familiarity with emerging technologies, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, accuracy and workflow managementEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
