Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of recent external audit experience
- Recent experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management / Investment Management clients, including:
- Hedge Funds
- Private Equity Funds
- Mutual Funds
- Venture Capital Funds
- Real Estate Investment Funds
- Experience leading audit planning and execution
- Hands-on valuation testing experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 820 / Fair Value Measurement, and Investment Company Accounting
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience with audit technology and analytics tools such as Aura, CaseWare, Alteryx, DataSnipper, Power BI, or IDEA
- Ability to explain how technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools have improved audit execution and efficiency
Nice to Have
- Big 4 audit experience
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Experience supporting large, complex investment management engagements

Join a leading Big 4 public accounting firm’s Asset & Wealth Management practice for a 3-month contract supporting the upcoming audit busy season .
This role will support sophisticated investment management clients, including hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, venture capital funds, and real estate investment vehicles. The auditor will own audit areas, support planning through execution, perform valuation testing, work with ASC 820 and fair value measurements, and communicate directly with clients. xhqgsiq
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of recent external audit experience, preferably within the Big 4, with strong experience auditing investment funds or investment managers.
