Our nimble, decentralized culture can provide you with a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and quickly gain experience to accelerate your career.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing all asset management functions of the assigned loan servicing portfolio, including financial analysis, inspections, assumptions, transfers, easements, partial releases, insurance losses, loan payoff, maturity management, & other loan eventsResponsible for strong customer service via prompt, professional communication with borrowers, lenders, investors, and co-workersResponsible for overseeing / maintaining department policies and procedures related to PWL, WL, and Portfolio DataMaintain and Update Monthly / Periodic reporting for assigned loansMaintain and Update Monthly / Periodic reporting for PWL and WL loans, as well as Portfolio data including Stress modelingDetermine Analytics' need and create Reporting to address assigned reportingCoordinate recurring calls with AM staff regarding PWL & WL loans, as well as Portfolio dataServing as a formal or informal team leader, including training, mentoring, & coaching more junior staffCreate, document, and follow up on action plans for troubled assetsCommunicate with senior mgmt. regarding remediation strategies and associated progressInteracts with accounting department for the transfer of cash, processing reserve disbursements, and the maintenance of reserve and other escrow accountsAccurately and efficiently producing required analyses of operating statements and related financial statements of commercial or multifamily properties, including identifying and researching variances, normalizing and otherwise adjusting the statements, per lender requirementsPerform (or review third-party) property inspections to verify sufficient maintenance of collateral, identify and report life safety issues, and other items of deferred maintenanceMaintain a live risk rating for all projects within the assigned portfolio, inclusive of Watch List deals, and identifying/documenting project issues, trends and opportunitiesPerform duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and lender servicing guides/agreementsOther duties as assignedRequired Education & Experience5+ years of commercial or multifamily mortgage servicing experience requiredGeneral familiarity with GSE (preferably Fannie Mae DUS, HUD/FHA, and/or Freddie Mac Optigo) loan servicing guidelinesSchool of Multifamily Property Inspection training course completion required.Experience managing distressed assets, to include familiarity with WL/special servicing requirements, workouts, loss sharing etc.Expert knowledge of mortgage banking, loan servicing, financial statement analysisStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to coach, train, and mentor junior asset managers/analystsExcellent attention to detail and ability to multi-taskIntermediate Microsoft Office skills required, advanced financial and data manipulation functions in Microsoft Excel preferredAbility to work independently as well as in a teamExcellent customer service skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience requiredJob ExpectationsRegular and reliable attendance requiredOccasional domestic travel requiredApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureBenefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees and their families including medical and dental plan; 401k plan including company matching; firm funded life and disability insurance.Make your next move an expert one and join us as we lead the industry into the future.
