Our solutions enable critical mission system capabilities and increase naval stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms.Key Responsibilities:Assemble products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools providedAssembles electronic components, subassemblies, products or systemsMaintains a neat, safe and organized work areaPositions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture or other holding deviceCrimps, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in placeMounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panelConnects component led wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact pointsInstalls finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases, housings, and cansAssembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs and switches to assembliesPerforms intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching and color-coding parts and assembliesAdjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristicsReports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisorRequired Skills:2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificateHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gauges such as multimeters, torque and force gauges, etcSoldering and welding experience requiredThis position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export AuthorizationDesired Skills:Experience as an assembler in defense manufacturing or aerospaceExperience with spray booth painting, conformal coatingPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for an extending periodAbility to work with your hands in a repetitive cycleAbility to stand and walkBe able to lift 30lbs unassistedEligibility for benefits begins on the first day of employment to include 401k, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Stock Purchase Program, Life and Disability Insurance!Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
