Senior Art Director

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Art Director to create and deliver high-quality creative assets for 21GRAMS, a full-service healthcare advertising agency. The role focuses on developing visual style across art, images, and photography, while aligning deliverables with client marketing strategies, objectives, and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative marketing strategies that support and align with client marketing strategies and objectives.
• Maintain a clear understanding of client positions and the evolving marketing environment to adapt and drive successful outcomes.
• Oversee a team to help ensure quality in the final product.
• Communicate with team members in a productive manner to keep projects moving toward goals.
• Apply strategic thinking across assigned accounts, medical categories, and market context.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3+ years of healthcare advertising experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare advertising.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of design programs.
• Managerial and leadership skills with the ability to work with a team.
• Decisive problem-solving abilities.
• A comprehensive creative portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual capabilities and the ability to produce work in high-science pharma categories.

Salary and Location

Location: Boston, MA (hybrid).

Pay range: USD 95,000 - 110,000 per year.

Work Model

• This is a hybrid role based in US offices, including Boston, Chicago, Carmel, Lambertville, or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.
• Employees within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office are required to attend in person two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or while working onsite with clients.
• Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and meet periodically throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities.
