Senior Application Support Analyst

Role Overview

As a Sr. Linux Application Support Specialist , you’ll be the technical backbone, ensuring our predictive analytics platform runs smoothly within hospital IT environments. This role is ideal for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) professionals who thrive on troubleshooting, system configuration, and healthcare data integrations. You’ll collaborate with IT teams to configure, monitor, and optimize deployments that clinicians depend on for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support new hospital deployments, with emphasis on RHEL/Linux environments and HL7/API integrations
• Manage upgrades, security patches, and performance tuning for Linux-based applications
• Troubleshoot issues across Red Hat servers, SQL databases, and clinical integrations
• Monitor system health, logs, and uptime to ensure high availability in mission-critical ICU settings
• Serve as the go-to Linux expert for internal technical teams and customer IT staff

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years hands-on RHEL/Linux administration (command line, scripting, troubleshooting)
• Strong SQL and API integration skills (HL7, FHIR experience a plus)
• Background in hospital/healthcare IT environments (applications, EMRs, or data flows)
• Proven track record in application support and incident resolution

Nice to Have

• 3–5 years implementing healthcare software or biomedical hardware
• Familiarity with interface engines (Mirth, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody) or decision support tools
