Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain tagging solutions across platforms using AEP Data Collection, and potentially GTM, or other tag management tools.
2. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of tag deployments to ensure data accuracy and performance, and troubleshoot any issues to maintain data integrity.
3. Develop and manage tag properties and rules for multiple domains using AEP Data Collection.
4. Efficiently manage and publish workflows involving multiple libraries in AEP Data Collection.
5. Design and execute data collection strategies and tagging standards that support scalable, consistent, and efficient data capture across web assets.
6. Work closely with front-end developers, UX, and product teams to align on data layer and EDDL requirements for websites and web event tracking to ensure optimal data collection.
7. Enforce best practices in data collection, including adherence to privacy and compliance requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.
8. Partner with business analysts and product owners to provide a best-in-class customer experience.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of relevant, full-time experience.
2. Experience with tag management systems such as AEP Data Collection (formerly Adobe Launch), GTM, Tealium, or similar platforms, including implementation, testing, debugging, and system planning.
3. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles.
4. Experience with Data Layer standards, formatting, and governance.
5. Knowledge of Agile development and software lifecycle methodologies.
6. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in team meetings.
7. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related STEM field.
