The Department of Innovation and Technology seeks a Senior Application Developer to support the Illinois Department of Human Services. This role involves reviewing, refactoring, redesigning, and updating web applications built with ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps. The developer will interpret existing code and processes to solve complex problems and implement new designs to meet evolving business requirements.
Key qualifications:
- Four years of college coursework in computer science or directly related fields
- Three years of professional experience in Application Services or related IT field
- Three years of professional experience developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET with C#, SQL Server
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps
- Ability to interpret program code, data, and processes to address complex, undefined problems
