Senior Application Developer (Full stack)Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid)Lead development of scalable, high-performance financial applications using Java, Microservices, and modern frontend frameworks. Responsible for technical leadership, architecture decisions, and delivery across distributed engineering teams in an Agile environment.• Lead full stack application design and development• Develop scalable systems using Java, REST APIs, and Microservices• Build UI components using Angular or similar SPA frameworks• Work with asynchronous messaging and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)• Drive architecture, performance optimization, and SDLC execution• Coordinate development across geographically distributed teams• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders• Support Agile delivery and CI/CD practices• 10+ years of experience in full stack or backend development• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Microservices, REST APIs• Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks• Strong SQL experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies• Experience leading distributed engineering teams• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.
