Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer with a strong background in application development, maintenance, debugging, and optimization of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience working with VB.NET applications, along with experience supporting and enhancing Pension Administration systems.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, SQL Server, SSRS, and InRules, with the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to upgrade existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable software solutions.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates must have at least 5 years of applied knowledge and hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2013
• VB.NET
• XML
• ASP.NET
• CSS
• HTML
• JavaScript
• Microsoft SQL Server 2020
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• InRules

Required Experience and Responsibilities

• Minimum of 12 years of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting applications using VB.NET.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting application code using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Ability to document code modifications, enhancements, and fixes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to upgrade, modify, configure, and enhance existing applications.
• Perform software testing, including system integration testing and regression testing, to ensure application changes meet business requirements.
• Analyze existing application functionality, identify issues, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Support application maintenance, performance optimization, and ongoing enhancements.

Industry-Specific Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of paid project experience in the following areas:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing Pension Administration solutions.
• Developing, enhancing, and optimizing .NET Framework batch applications and processes.
• Developing and implementing business rules and solutions using InRule irAuthor 4.6.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science must provide a copy of their diploma.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field must provide academic transcripts highlighting relevant coursework.
