Overseeing a federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) support program, the full-time Senior FOIA Analyst will manage operations, analyze complex FOIA cases, and ensure compliance with legal standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Independently review and process complex FOIA cases, including appeals and litigation-related requests Conduct detailed disclosure analyses and apply appropriate FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions Mentor junior analysts and identify process improvements while maintaining accurate documentation in the FOIA case-management system Required qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution At least 10 years of relevant FOIA experience Advanced knowledge of FOIA exemptions, the Privacy Act, and litigation support Experience with eDiscovery and electronic case-management tools, particularly Relativity Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
