Salary : $170,000 to $200,000 USD + equity

A leading life sciences platform is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help drive the next phase of product innovation. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the US or Canada.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in integrating AI into core product features, working cross-functionally to design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered tools that bring genuine value to users. You’ll join a growing team with a strong engineering culture and a deep appreciation for both scientific communication and technical excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Build and integrate AI solutions across products and internal workflows
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify and implement AI use cases
• Evaluate and apply LLMs and other AI technologies beyond basic coding tools
• Help shape AI strategy and architecture within the company
• Mentor others on best practices and emerging trends in applied AI

What we’re looking for:

• 7 to 12 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience integrating AI and LLMs into production applications
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions
• A thoughtful, pragmatic approach to applying AI to real-world problems

Bonus

• Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific tooling
• Interest in scientific communication or education
