Senior AI Data AnalystWe are seeking a Senior AI Data Analyst to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions in a large, data-driven public service environment. This role plays a critical part in modernizing operations through responsible use of AI, improving service delivery, increasing efficiency, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The ideal candidate blends strong technical expertise with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies for leadership and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Advanced AnalyticsDesign, build, and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics solutions, NLP tools, and AI-driven automationLead full lifecycle model development: data acquisition, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, and monitoringApply responsible AI practices to ensure fairness, explainability, and transparencyData Strategy & GovernanceMaintain data quality standards, metadata practices, and model documentationPartner with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure handling of sensitive dataSupport development of AI governance, ethics frameworks, and model risk management processesStakeholder CollaborationIdentify opportunities to leverage AI to improve operations and service outcomesCommunicate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for executive leadershipProvide mentorship and technical guidance to analysts and cross-functional teamsReporting & VisualizationDevelop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs, trends, and forecastsBuild and maintain Business Intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI)Integrate AI-driven insights into reporting for real-time decision-makingRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's preferred)5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or AI/ML rolesHands-on experience with machine learning model development and deploymentProficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Experience with NLP, predictive modeling, or automation solutionsStrong understanding of data governance, model validation, and performance metrics (e.g., MAE, F1, AUROC)Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical insights to non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with large, complex datasets in regulated environmentsFamiliarity with MLOps, model monitoring, and lifecycle managementExposure to geospatial analytics, LLMs, or advanced AI frameworksExperience implementing responsible AI or ethical AI frameworks
