Position Overview
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated banking professional who enjoys building and managing high-value customer relationships while combining strong credit and underwriting skills with business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 customer relationships
- Develop and maintain complex agricultural and commercial lending relationships
- Focus on relationships with $1MM+ aggregate balances
- Generate new business while retaining and expanding existing relationships
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned customers
- Conduct annual renewals, pricing discussions, and term negotiations
- Partner with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams
- Monitor portfolio performance, utilization, and credit risk
- Collect and review financial statements and required documentation
- Maintain accurate pipeline, portfolio, and relationship activity
- Identify opportunities for additional financing and banking services
- 3-5+ years of credit and underwriting experience
- Strong agricultural lending background
- Proven business development and relationship management experience
- Strong understanding of commercial credit
- Ability to build relationships while maintaining strong credit quality
- Experience with loan documentation
- Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Leadership experience is a plus
