Skills Needed
- 2-3+ years of accounting, audit, or finance experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA or working toward CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Day to Day
In this role, you’ll work directly with Fortune 1000 companies, large corporations, and fast-growing private equity-backed businesses on high-impact financial and accounting initiatives. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of industries, business models, and strategic projects while helping clients navigate some of their most important financial decisions.
Key Areas of Work
- Complex accounting matters, financial reporting, GAAP/FASB, and reporting process improvements
- Evaluating and improving accounting and finance processes, controls, systems, and workflows
- Financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and management reporting
- Supporting acquisitions, transaction analysis, financial diligence, and integration planning
- Preparing companies for public markets, including reporting, controls, processes, and finance infrastructure
- Supporting businesses through complex divestitures, separations, and standalone finance operations
- Partnering with high-growth companies and private equity sponsors through periods of significant growth and transformation
