nCDM has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Analyst in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics’ (SOF AT&L). nThis is a full-time opportunity, on site on MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.
nResponsibilities
nSupport Government Program Managers and senior leadership in planning, execution, and oversight of acquisition and program management activities.
nAnalyze program requirements and develop goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure successful mission accomplishment.
nMonitor program cost, schedule, performance, and risk, and recommend mitigation strategies to address issues and maintain program objectives.
nConduct research and analysis to identify program bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and barriers to execution, and develop corrective recommendations.
nSupport the development, staffing, and coordination of acquisition documentation, including acquisition strategies, SAMPs, APBs, spend plans, funding documents, market research, technical evaluations, and milestone packages.
nCollect, analyze, and report program metrics, requirements, and performance data to support management decision-making.
nCoordinate with Government stakeholders, technical teams, and external organizations to ensure effective communication and program alignment.
nMonitor programs for compliance with applicable policies, regulations, directives, and acquisition guidance.
nInterpret changes in acquisition policy, contracting regulations, and program directives, and assess impacts to ongoing efforts.
nSupport market research activities and cost-benefit analyses to inform acquisition and program decisions.
nReview program information and prepare reports, briefings, status updates, and executive-level presentations.
nAssist with resource planning and allocation based on program priorities, requirements, and funding availability.
nAnswer data calls, respond to information requests, and provide programmatic recommendations to Government leadership.
nSupport contract planning, administration, and acquisition activities across the program lifecycle.
nCollaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to solve complex program, acquisition, and contracting challenges.
nMaintain accurate program documentation, schedules, and records using Microsoft Office products and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
nPreferred Qualifications / Skills
nKnowledge of the Defense Acquisition System (DoDI 5000 series) and Defense Acquisition Framework.
nUnderstanding of federal acquisition, contracting, and appropriations law principles.
nExperience supporting cost analysis, market research, and acquisition strategy development.
nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
nAbility to analyze complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and manage multiple priorities.
nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented Government-support environment.
nQualifications:
nMinimum Experience:
nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen
nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
nCertifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent), and in the Program Management field
nEducation: Bachelor's degree in an acquisition, business, or related field
nYears of Experience: 10 years working in Federal Government acquisition programs or equivalent defense industry experience
nExperience preparing technical evaluations, ADM, SAMP, PB, FM worksheet, program protection plan, annual spend plan builds, PowerPoint Briefings processes, and government contracting processes.
