Senior Accounting Officer

To support the Director of Finance, the full-time contracted Senior Accounting Officer will oversee global accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, manage payroll processes, and enhance client invoicing systems while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate and GAAP-compliant financial reporting and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Oversee global payroll operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and timely payments to employees and contractors Manage end-to-end client invoicing and revenue recognition processes, collaborating with Sales and Operations teams for alignment Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; MBA preferred CPA certification is strongly preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience managing global payroll and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks
