Senior Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a respected Central Ohio real estate organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager with LIHTC and affordable housing experience . Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting activities for a portfolio of LIHTC and affordable housing properties
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC requirements, GAAP, and investor reporting obligations
- Partner closely with asset management, development, and property management teams
- Coordinate audit and tax support activities, including partnership accounting and reporting
- Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, controls, and workflows
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to accounting team members
Qualifications
- Strong accounting experience within LIHTC, affordable housing, or real estate environments
- Knowledge of partnership accounting and real estate ownership structures
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
- Experience with Yardi or a similar property accounting system preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
