Senior Accounting Manager

A growing, private-equity-backed education organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead its accounting team and support continued business expansion. This is an opportunity to join a company investing in its finance function, improve accounting processes and reporting, and partner with leadership across the business.

Compensation: $130,000–$140,000 + bonus

Work Setup: 100% remote

Job Description

• Lead a team of four accounting professionals and oversee daily accounting operations
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee revenue recognition, lease accounting, fixed assets, and project accounting
• Improve NetSuite processes, internal controls, and reporting for leadership and PE stakeholders
• Coordinate audits, tax activities, and cross-functional accounting initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
• Strong US GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting knowledge
• Multi-entity or multi-location experience preferred
• NetSuite and advanced Excel experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
