Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager. This position is for a temporary leave replacement. You will be responsible for supervising payroll and an operational accountant in a completely remote environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $60 per hour.
Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  
• Oversee the reconciliation of financial statements and ensure accuracy.
  
• Coordinate with the operational accountant to maintain accurate records.
  
• Prepare for the Year-End (YE) and Mid-Year (ME) audits.
  
• Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  
• Utilize Sage Intacct for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for remote communication and collaboration.
  
• Supervise payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  
• Provide guidance to the operational accountant in a fully remote work environment.
  
• Foster teamwork and maintain effective communication.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Teams.
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to lead and manage a remote team effectively.
