Senior Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Growth Opportunity to Controller

Location: On-site

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + Bonus

We're partnering with a well-established commercial and industrial construction company to identify an experienced Accounting Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role offers a clear path to Controller and the opportunity to work closely with the CFO in a growing organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the monthly close process, including general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee payroll reporting and compliance.
• Supervise customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
• Support process improvements and help strengthen the accounting function.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or Senior Bookkeeper.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Construction or project-based accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with construction accounting and Foundation software (or similar ERP).
