Senior Accounting Consultant

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a small long-term care/retirement community in Annapolis, MD.
• Due to project, they are hiring a Senior Accounting Consultant to work in office in Annapolis, MD.
• Pay: $60-63/hr depending on experience.
• Duration: 3-4 months
• Schedule: 4 days a week, 30 hours a week
• Free Parking

Overview of the Senior Accounting Consultant role:

• Treasury management - tracking cash flow, initiating wires
• Assist with audit
• AR/AP Oversight - supporting the team
• Month-end Close - catch up - accruals, payroll JE's, account reconciliations
• Able to identify, evaluate, and implement process improvement

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Consultant:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• Advanced Excel Skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
