About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, operational finance, and business partnering activities within a growing manufacturing organization. This role works closely with site leadership and finance teams to deliver actionable financial insights, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of financial analysis, accounting, and operational finance experience, along with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Financial Analysis

• Partner with operational leadership and finance teams to support growth initiatives and strategic business objectives
• Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational effectiveness
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
• Prepare presentations and financial reports for leadership teams

Financial Reporting & Close

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and financial reporting packages
• Assist with variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards
• Support implementation and adoption of new accounting guidance when required

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
• Partner with leadership teams to evaluate performance against financial plans
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, and cash flow expectations

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Support internal controls and financial compliance initiatives
• Assist with audit requests, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Participate in inventory observation, cycle count, and reconciliation processes
• Help ensure financial transactions are properly supported and accurately recorded

Special Projects

• Support process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
• Participate in system and reporting enhancements
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting, finance, FP&A, audit, or xhqgsiq related experience
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively with both finance and operational teams

Preferred

• Public accounting experience
• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning/reporting tools
• Exposure to operational finance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, or business analysis
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
