Our client is a growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join the team. This is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on accounting responsibilities but is also eager to expand into financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering.
The role will initially focus on core accounting functions while providing a clear path to take on more advanced finance responsibilities as you grow within the organization.
This is a FULLY ON-SITE position, not open to relocation!
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support payroll processing and related accounting activities
- Assist with monthly close and financial reporting
- Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in cash flow forecasting and financial planning initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset records and related accounting
- Support audits, internal controls, and inventory-related processes
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts receivable, account reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Strong desire to learn and grow into broader finance responsibilities including forecasting, cash flow analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
Preferred
- Experience supporting a manufacturing environment with complex operations
- Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with fixed assets and audit support
- Public accounting or audit experience is a plus
