Senior Accountant (Hybrid)Tysons Corner, VASalary Range: $42-44/hrAddison Group's client is searching for a temporary Senior Accountant. This role is hybrid (3x per week) in Tysons Corner, VA paying $42-44/hr. A candidate must have experience in the government contracting space.Key Responsibilities:Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPAnalyze financial results and provide insights to managementOversee general ledger activity and ensure the integrity of financial dataMaintain and reconcile complex balance sheet accountsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisCoordinate and support internal and external audit processesDevelop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsMentor junior accounting staff and support their professional developmentParticipate in system improvements, automation projects, and ERP upgradesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CPA preferred)4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and financial reportingStrong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworksPerks:Dental, Vision, Medical, 401(k)Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
