Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role is responsible for supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities while partnering with leadership to provide meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Analyze financial data and research account variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset records and related documentation
- Assist with tax reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting experience; recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow
