Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Drive month-end close processes and contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
• Oversee complex reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting activities across the organization.
• Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting to identify trends and support business decision-making.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and strengthen the reliability of financial data and reporting.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes, enhance controls, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing financial variances.
• Experience supporting payroll accounting activities is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
