Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses, including accounting processes, financial data, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, strengthen internal controls, and streamline workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a changing business environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP or accounting system.
