Senior AccountantWe are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the accounting and financial operations of a growing investment office overseeing the investments of a Family Office with multiple entities across operating businesses, investments, and holding companies.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can manage multiple legal entities simultaneously, and enjoys owning the details—from bill pay and reconciliations to monthly closes and financial reporting support.You will work across a portfolio of entities including operating companies, holding companies, investment vehicles, and special-purpose entities.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end accounts payable across multiple entitiesProcess vendor invoices, approvals, and payments accurately and on timeCoordinate ACH, wire, check, and credit card paymentsMaintain vendor records, W-9s, and payment documentationMonitor recurring expenses, subscriptions, professional fees, and administrative costsReconcile credit card activity and employee reimbursementsEnsure proper coding of expenses by entity, department, and classOwn the monthly close process across multiple entitiesPrepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany allocationsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accountsAssist with consolidating financials across related entitiesMaintain accurate general ledgersSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close deadlinesTrack fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capitalizationMaintain clean books across holding companies, LLCs, operating businesses, and investment entitiesRecord intercompany transactions and reconcile balancesTrack owner distributions, capital contributions, loans, and transfersAssist in entity-level cash managementEnsure proper documentation and audit trails across all transactionsTrack investment activity, capital calls, distributions, and ownership recordsAssist with cash forecasting and liquidity trackingMaintain schedules for debt, notes payable, and investment balancesSupport banking relationships and treasury administrationMonitor cash positions across all entitiesSupport payroll accounting entries and reconciliationsAssist with annual audits, tax prep, and outside CPA requestsHelp improve internal controls, workflows, and accounting processesMaintain organized digital records and accounting documentationSupport ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from leadershipIdeal CandidateHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailComfortable juggling multiple entities and moving prioritiesStrong ownership mentality; follows through without constant oversightAble to maintain confidentiality around ownership, compensation, and investmentsProcess-minded and always looking to improve workflowsComfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment without heavy bureaucracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsQualifications3–7+ years of accounting experienceExperience with multi-entity accounting strongly preferredBackground in family office, investment office, holding company, private equity, real estate, or multi-company environments preferredStrong understanding of accrual accounting and monthly closeExperience with AP, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement prepProficiency in accounting systems (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)Strong Excel / Google Sheets skillsBachelor's degree in AccountingBonus ExperienceInvestment accountingPrivate equity / family office exposureReal estate entity accountingDebt schedule managementTreasury / cash managementIntercompany eliminations / consolidationsSuccess Looks LikeWithin 90 days:Bill pay runs smoothly with minimal oversightMonthly closes are timely and accurateBank and balance sheet reconciliations are cleanIntercompany activity is properly trackedLeadership has confidence in financial accuracy across entitiesAccounting processes are becoming more scalable and less manualSchedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMWork Location: In person
