Working closely with the Controller, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.This position offers a blend of technical accounting responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both analytical work and partnering with internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial ReportingPrepare and record journal entries in accordance with accounting standardsReview entries prepared by accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliancePerform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations across various balance sheet and revenue accountsPrepare regular revenue reports and reconcile related accountsReview cash activity and payment reconciliationsAudit & Compliance SupportAssist with external audit preparation by compiling documentation and responding to auditor requestsPrepare schedules and entries related to grant and restricted fund accountingHelp ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsCollaboration & Special ProjectsPartner with finance team members and other departments to provide financial information and supportAssist with financial reporting improvements and process enhancementsSupport special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed
