Senior AccountantBrayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to play a key role within our Accounting Team. This position is responsible for leading the month-end close process, supporting the preparation of financial statements, assisting with tax computations, and providing timely financial analysis and periodic reporting for a diverse group of companies.The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.This position earns a competitive salary, and we provide terrific benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, profit sharing, and paid time off (PTO).The schedule for this position is typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexibility is occasionally required to meet operational needs.Senior Accounting Summary Of ResponsibilitiesPrepares and records journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses, including preparation of supporting entry packages and account analysis.Assist Accounting Manager in the month end close process to ensure items are completed timely and accurately.Perform analytical procedures to evaluate financial results and projections.Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements for both internal and external reporting.Maintenance of equipment and fixed asset records, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of items.Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.Qualifications For A Senior AccountantBachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field required.At least 4-6 years of experience, to include month-end closeWorking with multiple entities in various industries preferredExperience with labor unions and/or working in the Construction Industry a plus
