Senior AccountantSakuu Corporation is a San Jose–based advanced manufacturing and battery technology company developing next-generation energy storage solutions using proprietary additive manufacturing processes. Sakuu is focused on scaling innovative battery production to support applications across electric vehicles, aerospace, and energy storage.Sakuu is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for monthly close activities, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting, with direct exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
The position is fully on-site and reports to the Director of Finance.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesEnsure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policiesManage inventory and cost accounting, including variance analysisPartner with operations to validate production data, BOMs, and inventory movementPrepare internal financial reports and balance sheet and P&L analysisSupport audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunitiesAssist with cash flow and working capital analysisMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4–6 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processManufacturing or technology accounting experienceAdvanced ExcelAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environmentPreferred QualificationsStartup or high-growth company experienceExtensive ERP experienceAudit support experienceCompensationBase salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annuallyEquity participationComprehensive health benefits401(k) planFinal compensation will be based on experience, skills, and internal equityWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and equity packageHigh-impact, hands-on role in a growing manufacturing companyDirect exposure to leadership and opportunity for career growth
