What You'll Be Doing
- Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze project and operational financial results to identify trends and opportunities
- Track project costs, budgets, and overall financial performance
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
- Review contracts, billing, and revenue recognition to ensure accuracy
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management
- Partner with project teams and operations leaders to support business decisions
- Research variances and help identify solutions to improve financial performance
- Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4-6 years of accounting, project accounting, or finance experience
- Experience with project-based accounting, job costing, billing, or contract accounting is a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams
- Natural curiosity and a desire to understand the business behind the numbers
