Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close support.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Support cash management activities, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
- Review revenue and expense activity to ensure accurate accounting treatment.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other day-to-day accounting functions.
- Partner with internal departments to resolve billing, invoicing, and financial discrepancies.
- Support year-end close activities, external audits, and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects.
Desired Background
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA or CPA-track preferred.
