Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant with Manufacturing/Logistics Experience NeededThis position will be responsible for International Trade and Tariff's related to the client's business line.

The role involves preparing and consolidating financial statements, leading monthly close processes, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting and reconciliations related to tariffs for accurate reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and consolidate financial statements.Manage accounting and reconciliations related to tariffs.Lead monthly close processes, including journal entries.Utilize SAP and Excel for financial tasks.Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy.Work cross-functionally with Logistics and Accounting teams to ensure data accuracy.Support international trade-related accounting processes, including tariffs, duty tracking, and brokerage cost analysis.Bridge the gap between accounting and logistics.Research accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting financial reporting.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, focusing on financial data accuracy and reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required7+ years of accounting experienceExperience in a manufacturing environment or logisticsExposure to international trade, customs, or tariffs preferredProficiency in SAP and ExcelAbility to work independentlyStrong critical thinking skillsWork EnvironmentThis position requires working on-site at the headquarters in Tampa with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote (which can be any day from Tuesday to Friday).Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $ - $ /yr.
