Senior Accountant Job in Stevens Point Area
A national manufacturing company west of Stevens Point is looking to add a new Senior Accountant to their team. The company is very flexible with schedules and stands by their family-feel environment in terms of hours worked. A nice perk is that after onboarding, this role can work two days remote/week!

Job Duties:
- Partner with Controller on month/year end close procedures
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting procedures
- AR and AP reconciliations
- Assist with department goal setting
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
- Provide support for other accounting functions when needed
Job Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- 3+ years accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred, but not required xzgxqkn
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solving and process improvement mindset
