Confidential Senior Accountant Opportunity

Compensation: Base salary, $80K - $120K, plus a discretionary bonus and competitive full benefits.
Work Arrangement: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Downtown Chicago, IL.
About the Role
This Senior Accountant will own key inventory and COGS accounting responsibilities, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and the review of inventory and cost movements.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and reconcile inventory, costing, and COGS accounts across multiple sites
• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze variances, landed costs, manufacturing adjustments, and margin drivers
• Support inventory and production-related audit and tax schedules
• Work with operations, supply chain, and purchasing to resolve transaction discrepancies
• Support ERP data accuracy, process reviews, and item-level costing updates
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience with inventory and COGS exposure, or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience
• Experience with D365, SAP Business One, Oracle, JDE, or a comparable ERP
• Advanced Excel skills
