Please note that this job is HYBRID. After your initial onsite training, you will be allowed to work from home up to 3 days per week.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill their open Senior Accountant job in Westminster, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last at least 6 months. Depending on your performance and our client’s future hiring needs, this role may get extended and/or result in a permanent position in the company. You will earn between $40.00 and $48.00 in this role. You will also be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs (details below).

Responsibilities:

-Reconciling accounts

-Preparing and analyzing financial statements

-Preparing for audits

-Mentoring and coaching junior accounting staff

-Reviewing journal entries

-Managing month-end and year-end close processes

-Supporting budgeting and forecasting as needed

-Managing process improvement initiatives

-Maintaining compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and all relevant laws and regulations

-All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

-At least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

-Excellent attention to detail

-Excellent analytical skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Previous experience with SAP preferred

-Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.

Compensation:

-Hourly rate between $40.00 and $48.00
