4 Corner Resources is hiring a Senior Accountant for a leading vacation ownership and resort management company. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven accountant to take ownership of full-cycle general ledger and financial reporting work while playing a direct role in the financial health of a resort property.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries to build and maintain an accurate general ledger
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts according to department policy
- Facilitate wire transfers related to club receivables and payables
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate related-party receivables and payables
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and the reporting package
- Support coordination and preparation for financial audits
- Help build budget reports and prepare annual budgets
- Monitor banking activity to ensure funds are available for wires and checks
- Support annual departmental goals
- Help develop process flows, identify constraints, and implement process improvements
- May support planning and oversight of department or staff events
- May help mentor and develop accountants at lower levels
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, both independently and on a team
- Self-starter who is organized, performs well under pressure, and communicates effectively
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
- Experience with EPM software
- Oracle Fusion experience highly preferred.
- Experience in the timeshare industry
- Location: Fully remote but candidates must be in Pacific Time (PST/PDT) business hours.
- 6-month contract with possibility of extension depending on project need.
- Pay Rate: Starting at $46-50/hr.
